Nelson Soon serves as Proofpoint's Vice President of Channels and Alliances for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) and oversees the company’s channel and alliance operations across the APJ theatre. Based in Singapore, Nelson has over 20 years of experience in regional channel development and management. He is recognised as an industry veteran and transformational leader with exceptional technology knowledge and market insights. Mr. Soon has been named to CRN’s Channel Leaders List APAC 2025. Prior to Proofpoint, Nelson held various senior channel leadership positions at several prominent technology companies, including Imperva (now part of Thales), Gigamon, Extreme Networks, Ixia and Agilent Technologies.
